Celeste Ann Bowen, age 66 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of October 19, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born December 17, 1953, in New Castle, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Dorothy (Schweikrt) Hardy. Celeste was a graduate of Mohawk High School and Old Dominion University. She was employed as an RN and loved to garden and craft. What gave Celeste the most joy in life, was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph and St. Vitus Churches. Celeste is survived by three sons, Chad (Samantha) Bowen of New Castle, PA, Adam (Jackie) Bowen of New Waterford, OH, Randy (Heather) Bowen of Suffolk, VA; one daughter, Nicole Pollard of TN; one brother, Ed (Sue) Hardy of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Karen (George) Hildebrand of New Castle, PA, Denise Tritt of New Castle, PA and seven grandchildren, Lucas, Sophia and Amelia Bowen all of New Castle, PA, Aliviana Bowen of New Waterford, OH, Ryan Jones of New Castle, PA, and McKenna and Abram Bowen of Suffolk, VA. A private family service will be held at St. Vitus Catholic Church – Holy Spirit Parish on Friday, Oct. 23rd at 11:00 AM.
