After a long battle that involved pumping, flow, and pressure drop, Charlie's motor finally stopped on the afternoon of October, 7, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.Charles W. Brown, 69, of Conneaut Lake, PA was born on June 14, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Howard C. and Margaret Krelko Brown. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his early morning rounds. Charlie loved boating and being on the waters of Conneaut Lake, which he called his home. Mr. Brown was a member of various social clubs, the Steamfitters Local 449, and the Fraternal Order of Masons.Charlie is survived by his loving companion Rosie Husar; Kathy Golden Brown; one daughter and son-in-law, Susanne and Greg Lehman of Girard, PA; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Amy Brown of Cranberry Twp., PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Bill Buemi of Munroe Falls, OH; and five grandsons, Ryan Lehman, Timmy Lehman, Connor Brown, J.J. Lehman and Payton Brown.Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents.There will be no service or public viewing. Per Charlie's request, a wake at the lake will be celebrated at a later date.
