Charles Ernest
Reese
Jun 17, 1942 — Mar 28, 2023
Charles (Chuck) Ernest Reese, age 80, of New Castle, passed away the evening of March 28, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Chuck is reunited in death with his loving wife, Margaret (Peggy) A. (Toussaint) Reese. He is survived by his children: Natalie (Brad) Hess, Lorrie Reese, and Danielle Reese; like-a-son nephew: Mike (Karen) Hall; five grandchildren: Samantha, Kasie, AJ, Isaac, and Madelyn; four great-grandchildren; and his four-legged side kick, his dog Gucci.
He is also survived by his two sisters: Ruth Marlene Reese and Joann Borroni.
Chuck was born in New Castle, PA. After graduating from Shenango High School, Chuck served in the United States Air Force. After honorable discharge from his military service, he managed and operated several Boron/BP full-service automobile stations in the area retiring early.
Chuck was an avid outdoorsman traveling nationally pursuing his passion for hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed the ocean and vacationed often with his family. He loved the game of golf and was a member of several fraternity clubs.
No matter his physical condition or life stresses, Chuck always looked forward by pursuing something he enjoyed. He never gave in, pushing forward and planning his next adventure or project until the end. He embraced his time, his family and friends, and made the best life he could.
Chuck's life lesson to his family was "Just because you're getting older doesn't mean you have to grow up! But when it's time to work, it's time to work." Chuck lived by his own words.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Chuck is loved and will be missed.
I love you more.
