Charles O. Riggans, Jr., age 71, of Edinburg, PA, passed away June 8, 2017 at his residence. Born November 13, 1945 in New Castle, he was the son of Charles O. Riggans, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Jones Riggans. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Bunnell Riggans whom he married July 4, 2003. Mr. Riggans was an Army veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Benning, Georgia. Until his retirement, he was employed as a foreman and machinist with a tool and die plant. Among his many interests, Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mary Christine Riggans Brown of Cheyenne, WY; two sons, John W. Riggans and William A. Riggans both of Cheyenne, WY; three step-daughters, Shannon Krause and Sondra Pearson of New Castle, and Wanda ORouke of Florida; one sister, Lylia M. Riggans of Portersville; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Jo Riggans Jackson; and one daughter, Leslie Ann Riggans.
