Charlotte Mae Duff joined her Savior on January 1, 2020, at the age of 84. She was born January 2, 1935 in New Castle, PA to Mary and William Beltrame. She graduated from New Castle High School in 1953, then went on to earn a degree in Science and Home Economics from Juniata College in 1957. She worked for Ohio Edison then married James Edwin Duff, also of New Castle, on October 3, 1959. She followed him to Charleston, SC then to Maryland where they lived for about 50 years. They returned to New Castle in 2012. Charlotte leaves behind her husband of 60 years, James, son Jay Morgan Duff and his wife Rebecca of Atlanta, GA, Mark James Duff and wife Cheryl of Knoxville, TN, and daughter Callee Lynne Stauffer and husband Peter of Frederick, MD. She has 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was very involved in her church and was known for her cooking. The family would like to thank the staff at Clen-Moore Place, for the outstanding care and compassion, they gave to Charlotte. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, and on Monday, January 6th from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Harmony Baptist Church, 4103 Ellwood Road, New Castle, Pa. 16101. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th at 11:00 am at Harmony Baptist Church, with Pastor Jeff MacKay officiating.
