Chris Ann Biddle, age 66, of Andover, OH, passed away July 29, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic, after an extended illness.

Born Sept. 15, 1956, in Youngstown, OH, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mary Ann (McCool) Texter.

On June 16, 1979, she married her beloved husband of 44 years, Ardell Biddle. He survives at home.

Chris was a graduate of New Wilmington High School and New Castle Beauty School. For several years, she was employed by Golden Hill Nursing Home, as a housekeeper, and then went onto work at Hillview Manor. Chris enjoyed crocheting, knitting, collecting thimbles, and long rides in the country. What gave her the most joy in life, was spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who looked up to her as a mother.

In addition to her husband, Chris is survived by her dog "Chloe"; Charlene Daugherty, who was like a second mother to her; two brothers, John W. (Ginny) Texter, Jr., and Steve P. Texter; two sisters, Cathy Linn (Anthony) Daugherty, and Lisa J. Texter; nine nieces and nephews and seven great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wed. Aug. 2nd from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place, immediately after visitation, at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev. James Meadows, officiating.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
