Christine Runyan Sager, age 49, passed away peacefully the early morning of Dec.24, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

Chrissy was the daughter of the late Clinton and Sharon Runyan who preceded her in death.

She was married to her beloved husband Russell, who survives at home, along with their two sons whom she adored, James and Tyler Sager.

Chrissy was a retired LPN from UPMC Jameson Care Center. She was loved by all who knew her. Chrissy enjoyed helping others and being the rock for her family. She loved hobby lobby, doing crafts in her spare time, and occasional trips to Florida. What Chrissy cherished the most was spending time with her family. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 315. Chrissy was an active member of Independent Methodist Church, where she enjoyed attending and congregating with the other members.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 29th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place, at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The Rev. Frederick Gilbert, of Independent Methodist Church, will be officiating, and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 315, will conduct full honors.

Burial will be at Briar Hill Cemetery.
