Christopher W. Jones, 36, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of September 10, 2017 at his residence. Born August 19, 1981 in New Castle, he was the son of William and Betty J. Ringer Jones. Chris enjoyed gardening and tractor pulls, especially John Deere tractors. He will be missed by his family and friends whom he loved. He was a member of Faith Country Chapel. In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother, William (Lisa) Jones of New Castle; 2 sisters, Sherrie (Bruce) Stuart of Aiken, SC and Suzzanne (Tony) Oliva of New Castle; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2010 and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the R.
