Christopher P. Longobardi, 26, of New Castle entered into rest the afternoon of July 6, 2011 at Butler Memorial Hospital.Born February 9, 1985, in North Lauderdale, Florida, he was the son of Paul Longobardi and Karen Cerezo Park and step-son of Todd Park. Christopher was a graduate of New Castle High School and Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in addition, he attended Youngstown State University. He was employed by Dunkin Donuts as a shift manager. Christopher attended St. Vitus Church. He enjoyed cooking, fashion and music. Christopher will be remembered for being fun-loving, unique, noble, kind and selfless. He could light up any room with his dazzling smile and humor. No one could meet Christopher without coming away feeling better.In addition to his parents, he is survived by three aunts, Amarilis (John) Van Orden and children, Jason, Nicholas and Austin; Alicia (Tony) Lewis and children, Christina Alexander and Brandon Linkenhoker; Varenka (Jeff) Schmidt and children, Brittany and Zackary all of Raleigh, North Carolina; two uncles, Edgar (Patricia) Cerezo and children, Sierra and Isabella of New Castle, PA, Nick Longobardi of New Castle; one brother, Tyler Park and one sister, Jessica Longobardi both of New Castle.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Alicia Cerezo and paternal grandparents, Louis and Nancy Longobardi.Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2011, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Camillus Church. Processional will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. The Rev. Father Thomas Lewandowski will officiate.Memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway Rehabilitation Center, Robinson Plaza 3, Suite 430, 6600 Steubenville Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15205
