Clair 'Butch' Allen Wiley, Jr., age 68, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 7, 2025, at his residence, with his loving family by his side.

Born April 16, 1956, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Clair Allen and Roseanna (Keul) Wiley, Sr.

On Nov. 26, 1977, he married his beloved wife of 47 years, Karen (Regna) Wiley. She survives at home.

Butch loved tattoos, anything with a motor, animals, heavy metal music, and his friends and family. He was the world's worst deer hunter and would have starved if fishing was his only option. He just enjoyed watching the wildlife. Butch loved dogs, raising dachshunds as a child and spending time on the motorcycle with his beloved Suzie. During his cancer treatments his two dogs, Bella and Cooper, were faithfully by his side.

He was artistic, creative, mechanically talented and could fix anything with his "Wiley" engineering. You would even find Butch in the kitchen, creating his famous four course meals from anything he could find in the refrigerator.

Butch may have been best known as a biker, riding anywhere, anytime, and in any weather condition. He loved riding his 1966 Shovelhead FLH and 2005 Ultra Classic Harleys with his family, friends and even with his dog Suzie. Butch was happiest with his knees in the wind and Black Sabbath blaring. He traveled up and down the eastern seaboard with multiple trips to Sturgis, ND and always made time for a ride with Karen for their annual Christmas Day ride.

For most of his life he was a Semi truck driver by trade. He worked for several different companies hauling wildly different loads from steel to strawberries. His travels consisted mostly of long hauls that took him to interesting places around the country. This career allowed his family to travel with him to places such as Virginia Beach and Toronto.

You always knew where you stood with Butch, he loved and protected fiercely. If you were part of his life, it only took a phone call, and he would do anything within his power to help. Butch always made time to cultivate and nurture his relationships with friends. Above all else, Butch will be known as a fighter. Fighting a courageous battle of cancer for 7 years. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by one son, Joseph Allen Wiley, of New Castle, PA; one daughter, Tiffany Wiley (John Zedick) of New Castle, PA; three sisters, Graceann Wiley of FL, Mariann (Grant) Magee and Nancyann (Sal) Izzo, both of New Castle, PA; two grandchildren, Deryk Joseph Wiley -Bailey of Bessemer, PA, and Lyanna Lexis Ferry of Pulaski, PA; multiple nieces and nephews; and his two beloved dogs, Cooper and Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, Grayson and Joseph Wiley, his niece, Jennifer, and nephew, Aaron.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
