Clara Gladys Anderson, age 81 of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of October 31, 2019, at her residence. Born February 5, 1938 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Yaged & Rafha (George) Abraham. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Anderson, whom she married February 29, 1964. Gladys was in administrated management for many years with Sears and Roebuck. She was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church. Gladys is survived by her two brothers, Gerald Abraham and Gary Abraham; three sisters, Geraldine Fletcher, Dolores Abraham and Claudia Nelson all of New Castle; a step-son, Michael (Teri) Anderson; step-daughter, Peggy Lee (Gary) Johnson; one step-granddaughter, Nicci (Nath) Maniedeo; and one step-grandson, Richard "RJ" (Rhonda) Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Gwen Schlemmer. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle. A Trisagion service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 5, at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 915 Lynn Street, New Castle, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with The Very Rev.
