Clara 'Marie' A. Kroesen, age 81, of Pulaski, PA, passed away the evening of Feb. 9, 2023, at her residence.

Born Feb. 9, 1942, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Geraldine (DeGaten) Adams.

On June 7, 1969, she married her husband of 45 years, Dick L. Kroesen. He preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2014.

Marie was a graduate of New Wilmington Area High School. She was a custodian, employed by Jameson Memorial Hospital, for 9 years and more recently by Neshannock Area School District for 15 years, until her retirement in 2013. Marie loved watching Westerns, listening to music, working puzzles and lottery tickets. What gave her the most joy in life, was spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Ricky Leroy Kroesen of New Castle, PA, and one daughter, Tracy Lynn (Joseph Jr.) Wilkins of Pulaski, PA; six grandchildren, Alexis, Aleah, Timmy, Zachary, Jade, and Gavin; five brothers and six sisters.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marie was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 13th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place on Tues. Feb. 14th, at the funeral home, at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be alongside her husband at Graceland Cemetery.
