Connie Garver, 54, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2020 at her residence. Born September 30, 1966 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Richard and Grace (Valenti) Harvey. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Douglas J. Garver, whom she married July 25, 1987. A Neshannock High School graduate, Connie was employed with the US Postal Service in Butler and more recently, Volant. Connie enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her two grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Douglas J. Garver, Jr., of New Wilmington and Jeremy W. (Paula) Garver of New Castle; three sisters, Donna Jolley of Ohio, Kim Reed of New Castle and Bobbie Valenti of Arizona; and two grandchildren, Maddylyn Garver and James Garver. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.
