Connie Jane Kalajainen, 73, of New Castle, passed away February 26, 2015 at the Bellevue Hospital in Pittsburgh. Connie was born on April 17, 1941, in New Castle, to the late Charles and Alice Murray Golla. She married Gary L. Kalajainen on July 22, 1963. He survives. Mrs. Kalajainen graduated from New Castle High School and was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother to her daughter Kimberly. She was a member of Independent Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Gary, Connie is survived by her daughter Kimberly Kalajainen of East Lyme, CT and her grandchildren, Cooper and Riley. Mrs. Kalajainen was preceded in passing by her parents and her sister, Carole Cini. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-3 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., New Castle.
