Craig Brian Joki, age 66, of New Castle, passed away the evening of Dec. 15, 2021, at his residence. Born June 15, 1955, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Elmer and Ruth (Scalzo) Joki. On Aug. 14, 1993, he married his beloved wife of 28 years, Nadema (Spott) Joki. She survives at home. Craig earned his Associates degree as a Tech in Mechanical Engineering from YSU. For 40 years, he was employed by Fleming Steel, where he worked in the Purchasing Dept, until his retirement in Dec. of 2020. Craig loved to golf, especially anytime he could golf with his friends. What gave Craig the most joy in life, was spending time with his family and friends, his dog "Ellie", and cat "Scooch". Craig was a kind and caring man to all. In addition to his wife, Craig is survived by one daughter, Samantha Joki, of New Castle, PA; and one sister, Karen (Terry) Boulden of New Castle, PA. Visitation will be held on Mon. Dec. 20th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Tues. Dec.21st from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately after visitation, on Tues., at the funeral home, with Pastor Wilfred Goetze of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. The Joki family kindly asks that all of those attending the visitations and service, please wear a mask. Burial will be at Castleview Memorial Gardens.
