Darrell Lee Owens, age 75, of Shenango Twp., passed away the afternoon of Oct. 5, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born March 2, 1947, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Wilna (Adams) Owens.

He was married to his beloved wife, Darlene (Cameron) Owens, who preceded him in death.

Darrell was a graduate of New Castle High School. He worked as a millwright, employed by Steeldoor, in Youngstown, OH, for many years. Following that he worked in the local car industry. Darrell enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, sports, and especially spending time with his beloved dog "Yoder-dog!"

Survivors include his children, a son, Darrell Joseph 'Joe' Owens of Medford, OR; two daughters, Kelly Ring of Virginia Beach, VA, and Diana Love of Bluffton, SC; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Darrell was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
