David E. Davis, 65, passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of October 28, 2021, at his residence in North Beaver Township.
Born November 12, 1955, in New Castle, he was the son of Evan J. and Ida I. (Black) Davis.
Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 46 years, Donna (Vaughan) Davis, whom he married on August 16, 1975.
A 1973 graduate of New Castle High School, he furthered his education by attending Youngstown State University and DCI, receiving his networking certification.
He was employed with Cleaning Systems Inc. in Mars, PA as a machine tech, repairing equipment.
David was a car enthusiast, including car restoration and maintenance. He had his own car garage for many years and enjoyed working on several of his own classic cars, including his 1969 Olds.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Dr. Christine (Aaron) Boring of Pittsburgh and Alissa (Cindy) Davis of Edinburg; one sister, Linda (Damon) Cable of Virginia; and three grandchildren, Jessica, Mackenzie and Haley Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Davis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. There will not be a service at this time.
