David Freed, age 87, passed away the evening of July 20, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born September 11, 1930, in New Castle, he was the son to the late Angelo and Frances DeRosa Freed. He married Viola Lombardo Freed on October 5, 1950. She survives at home.
David served our country in the Army, during the Korean Conflict. He was a self employed mechanic and car salesman. He enjoyed being an antique dealer, going to yard sales, flea markets, fishing and hunting. What David treasured most of all, was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God.
Along with his wife, David is survived by one sister; Mary Pallott of New Castle and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, preceding him in death are eight brothers; George, Joseph, Alfred, Tony, Paul, Dominic, Frank and John Freed, and one sister; Antonette Freed.
Visitation will be held on Tues. July 24th, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at First Assembly of God, 2021 Pulaski Road, New Castle. A service will immediately follow visitation, at 4:00 PM, with the Rev. James Dinger of First Assembly of God, officiating.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
