David Wayne Kennedy, 53, of Shenango Road, New Castle, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. David was born in New Castle, PA to David L. Kennedy and the late Marian E. Johnson Kennedy on February 4, 1965. David attended New Castle High School. He served his country as a Private First Class of the US Army. People who knew David would describe him as a hardworking man who loves his entire family very much. He had an abundant sense of humor and will be greatly missed. David is survived by his wife of 14 years, Michele Strickler Kennedy, residing together in New Castle, PA. David's children include David Kennedy II, Tara Price, Cody Fisher, Jenna Fisher, and Cross Kennedy. He has five grandchildren, Jozlyn Price, Erika Price, Gracie Price, Brooklyn Kennedy and Kendall Kennedy. His siblings include Donald Kennedy, Deanna Ridenbaugh, and Dean Kennedy who survive him. David is also survived by his father, David L. Kennedy. David worked at Feed Screws in New Castle for a total of 18 years. Nordson Xaloy Inc. in Youngstown, Ohio has recently been David's employer for several years until his untimely passing. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 2:00 with Pastor Greg Marshall officiating.
