David E McCosby, 52, of 4145 Wiley Lane, New Castle, passed away September 13, 2012.Born October 4, 1959, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Thomas W. and Maryann Scheller McCosby. He was married to the former Debra Ann Barr. David achieved his welding certificate from the New Castle School of Trades, where he later became the head of building construction and also taught welding.He was employed as a machinist with Advanced Feed Screws.David was a Nascar fan and he enjoyed working on and had restored multiple vehicles.He was a member of Castlewood Alliance Church.In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rachael Promise Pardick and her husband Ben of New Castle; a son, Jacob Aaron McCosby and his wife Erin of New Castle; six brothers, Tom, Steve, Mark, Jerry, John and Matthew McCosby; four sisters, Julie Wagner, Kathy Campbell, Joan Rogan and Theresa Atkins; and two grandchildren, Riley Ann and Piper Jeanne McCosby.He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Castlewood Alliance Church, 660 Harmony Baptist Road.Arrangements are by the R.
