David L. Rosenholm, age 74, of Shenango Township, passed away the morning of December 11, 2022.

Born June 26, 1948, in New Castle, he was the son of Lynn and Marilyn (Eckles) Rosenholm.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl L. (Crawford) Rosenholm, whom he married October 21, 1978.

A graduate of New Castle High School, David continued his education at a technical school for drafting before serving his country in the Marine Corps, where he served as an Avionics Technician from 1970-1974.

He was employed for 30 years with Penn Power as a control room operator until his retirement.

Among his many interests, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He was a member of Shenango Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Brie (Cody) Kosciuszko of New Castle, PA; one son, Shea Rosenholm of New Castle, PA; one sister, Cherie Schuster of Odessa, FL; and one brother, Jon Rosenholm of New Castle, PA.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. Dec. 15th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place on Thurs. at 5:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Nero officiating and The New Castle Area Honor Guard, performing Military Rites.
