Deborah A. Burns, age 59, of New Wilmington, PA, passed away the morning of June 28, 2021, at her residence. Born Aug. 10, 1961, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha "Bertie" (Staber) Nelson. Deborah was a 1979 graduate of Union Area High School. She was a former employee at the Record Argus as a Printing Press Operator. Deborah loved bird watching and had an immense green thumb. She loved taking care of her animals, but what gave her the most joy in life was spending time with her daughters. Deborah is survived by her two daughters, Holly and Heather Burns, both of New Wilmington, PA; three sisters, Carla Hancox of New Wilmington, PA, Kathy Davis of New Castle, PA, and Bobbie Simmons of Independence, MI; and former husband, Christopher Burns of Fredonia, PA. In keeping with her wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be offered to her family or to The Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148.
