Delores M. Dee Ahmed, 83, formerly of New Castle, passed away May 27, 2018 at Sunnyside Assisted Living in Surprise, Arizona. Born December 6, 1934 in New Castle, Pa, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Delores M. Eckles Ball. She was preceded in death on March 19, 2014 by her husband of 56 years, Norris Ahmed, whom she married on May 4, 1957. Dee attended the New Castle Business College and was an Avon representative for 27 years. She is survived by three daughters, Noreen Smith of Greenville, PA, Nadine (Anthony) Panzica of Litchfield Park, AZ and Dina Ahmed of Buckeye, AZ; one son, Norris (Dottie) Ahmed of Rising Son, MD; and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Rio; three brothers, Dennis, Kenneth and George Butch Ball; and a son-in-law, Mark Smith. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Castle View Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by the R.
