Delores M. (Dee) Patterson, 83, of Crown Point, IN passed away on September 1, 2017. Born November 29, 1933, in Edinburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary V. (Estep) Holler. She grew up in western PA and graduated from New Castle HS in 1951. On July 9, 1954, she married the late Robert E. (Bob) Patterson, also from New Castle. In addition to raising four children, Dee held several professional administrative positions, most recently as the Personnel Manager at Munster Med Inn in Munster, Indiana. Dee enjoyed sewing, crafts, home-decorating, and a variety of games; but most of all, she dearly loved spending time with her family. Mrs Patterson is survived by two sons and their wives; two daughters and their husbands: Tim Patterson and Cindy Phillips of Sewickley, PA; Jim and Georgine Patterson of Yellow Springs, OH; Kim and Mike Bernstein of Merrillville, IN; and Sheri and Don Tokoly of Crown Point, IN. She had ten grandchildren; Greyson Patterson and Garrett Patterson of Pittsburgh, PA; Grant Patterson of Thousand Oaks, CA; Griffin Patterson of Bangkok, Thailand; James Patterson, Nick Patterson, and Bowen Patterson of Dayton, OH; Thomas Tokoly of North Liberty, IN; Sara Tokoly of Noblesville, IN, and Hanna Tokoly of Crown Point, IN. Finally, Dee was blessed with five great grandchildren: Gavin, Maci, and Bennett Patterson, as well as a great granddaughter to be born in December and who will share Dees middle name, all of Dayton, OH; and Maxwell and Warren Patterson of Pittsburgh, PA.
