Dennis E. Wyant, age 77, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of June 21st, 2026, at his residence.

Born May 24, 1949, in Kittanning, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Rogers) Wyant.

On April 5, 2007, he married his beloved wife, Ethel Williamson. Mrs. Wyant survives at home.

Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the construction industry, working as a supervisor for Terrari Construction, until his retirement. He was a proud member of VFW Post 315, Eagles Club 455, the Johnson Club, and the American Legion. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially is grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, survivors include, two stepdaughters, Lori Gilson of Bessemer, PA, and Suzanne Stoll of Wampum, PA; one son, Michael Wyant of New Castle, PA, two stepsons, James Floyd of Eastbrook, PA, and Steven Klunk of Maryland; two brothers, Allen Wyant of Edinburg, PA, and Paul Wyant of Poland, OH; three sisters, Connie Wyant of Indiana, Cindy Wyant of West Pittsburg, PA, and Karen McBeth of Hermitage, PA; seven grandchildren and eleven step grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Dennis was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas Wyant and Dennis Wyant, Jr., one brother, Kenneth Wyant, and one granddaughter, Joyce Wyant.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 4:00 PM, with the New Castle Area Honor Guard, preforming military rites.

Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
