Diana A. Noren, age 84, of New Castle, passed away the evening of October 27, 2024, at Jameson Care Center.

Born July 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Alex and Toini Noren.

After her high school graduation, Diana earned her nursing degree from Butler College. She was a registered nurse throughout most of her life with several different health facilities.

Among her varied interests, Diana enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking, but her real love was being an animal activist, especially her rescue dogs.

She is survived by three daughters, Irene Eldridge of Edinburg, PA, Mildred (Antonio) Lassala and Marian (John) Wetzel all of New Castle; one son, David Eldridge; one granddaughter, Melina (Kevin) Clark; and two grandchildren, Alexandria Clark and Zachery Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Sam Eldridge.

The family will have a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
