Diane Gladys Farrington, 86, of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away June 29, 2021 at Jameson Care Center in New Castle. Diane was born September 27, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Forest and Gladys (Snyder) Farrington and grew up in New Castle, PA. She was the loving sister of Danny Farrington of New Castle and two brothers who preceded her in death, Richard Farrington and her twin brother Duane Farrington. She was the aunt and great aunt to several nieces and nephews and good friend and housemate of Lynn Wolfram of Brecksville, Ohio. After receiving her degrees from Carnegie-Mellon University and Case Western University, Diane lived in Brecksville, Ohio and spent her entire working career as a research chemist at the Standard Oil (Ohio) Research Center. Upon retirement, she travelled extensively with Lynn and enjoyed fishing and bowhunting with her brother Danny. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
