Dolores L. Brown, 80, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of January 20, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Born August 31, 1932, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Clifford and Zella Myers Bradford. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Russell Brown on September 1, 2005. They were married October 28, 1953. Dolores was a graduate of New Castle High School in 1950 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and travel and attended Evangel Community Church. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara L. Johnston and her fiance' John Henry of New Castle; two sons, David R. Brown and his companion Linda Shields of Tidioute, PA and Robert C. Brown and wife Beth Ann of Warren, PA; two brothers, Richard Bradford of Dallas, TX and William Bradford of Mars, PA; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 24, 2013, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
