Donald M. Fraser, 81, of 1220 Savannah Rd, passed away the morning of Jan. 11, 2012 at Jameson Hospital. Born March 15, 1931, in New Castle, he was the son of Arnold E. and Nelle C. Pettibon Fraser. He was formerly married to Deloris Williams Fraser Burdett. Donald attended New Castle High School, served in the U. S. Army as a sergeant during the Korean Conflict, and was employed at Johnson Bronze for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include two daughters, Christine Fraser Rogers of Carlisle, PA and Rebecca Fraser of New Castle; three sons, Donald Fraser of FL, Dan Fraser of New Wilmington, and Gregory Fraser of Youngstown; two sisters, June Radish of New Castle and Katherine Christine of Augusta, GA; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Mary Lou Noble, Ruth Landis, Lois Beals, Bette Coulter; three brothers, Arnold Fraser, John Fraser, and Bobby Fraser; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at noon. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
