Donald C. Rupp, age 92 of New Castle, passed away on Dec. 22, 2020 at Shenango on the Green, in New Wilmington. Born June 16, 1928, in Kittanning, PA, he was the son of Charles V. and Martha B. (Waine) Rupp. In August of 1950, he married his beloved wife of 70 years, Barbara J. (Hennon) Rupp. She survives. Donald enlisted in the United States Army, serving his county from 1946-1947, in Japan. He was an operating engineer for the local 66, with which he was a 72-year member. He loved woodworking and tending to his vegetable garden. He also loved fixing clocks and was a member of the national association of watch and clock collectors. What gave him the most joy in life was spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by one son, Daniel (Prudie) Rupp of Newbery, OH; one brother, Ronald Rupp of Arizona, and two grandchildren, Charles Rupp, and Abby Howell. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother William Rupp. In keeping with Donald's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
