Donald R. Woodworth, Jr., age 72, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of November 7, 2019 at Avalon Place. Born September 27, 1947 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of Donald R. Woodworth, Sr. and Virginia Jones Woodworth, and step-son of Ruth Woodworth. After graduating from New Wilmington High School, he attended New Castle Business College. He was employed with Sawhill Tubular in Sharon until his retirement. Donald enjoyed playing bocce, fishing, hunting and riding his Harley. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguin fan who loved and looked forward to watching all the games. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Nancy Ragozzino of New Castle; one brother, Robert B. (Bambi) Woodworth of Ellwood City; four nephews, Ryan Graziani of Pittsburgh, Stephen (Katherine) Graziani of New York City, Daryl Woodworth and Matthew Woodworth both of Ellwood City; and his step-mother, Ruth Woodworth of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Woodworth. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 16, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following visitation Saturday at 11:30 at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Bupp officiating.
