Donna M. Bowen, age 91 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of June 23, 2021, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born May 2, 1930, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Thomas) McClintock. On Oct. 24, 1953, she married her beloved husband of 55 years, David L. Bowen. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2009. Donna was a graduate of New Castle High School. She was employed by Bell Telephone Company as an operator, for several years. Donna devoted her life to taking care of her children and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of her dogs. She was a member of Shenango Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bowen is survived by her children, one daughter, Denise (Donald) Fishback of East Aurora, NY, two sons, David E. (Cindy) Bowen and Daniel L. Bowen, both of New Castle, PA; one brother, Robert L. McClintock of New Castle, PA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Joanne. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 27th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will follow immediately after visitation at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery alongside her husband.
