Donna B. Dorsey, age 74, of New Castle, PA, passed away the afternoon of July 17, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born Nov. 19, 1949, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Callendar) Dorsey.

For over 25 years, Donna was employed by Liberty Mutual. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Red Hat Society and Challenges-Options in Aging. Donna enjoyed playing cards, slot machines, bowling, Chinese auctions, old movies, and going out to eat. What she treasured most in life, was the time she spent with her friends that became like family. Donna was more than just an aunt to her niece Andrea's family. She never missed their family celebrations and was included in many family adventures. She was a faithful member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her sister, Pat (Eric) Hoag of League City, TX; two nieces, Suzanne Hoag of City League, TX; and Andrea (Steve) Horning of Annapolis, MD; her great-nieces and great-nephew, Emma, Andy and Lily.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Rimsky and her brother-in-law, Gerald Rimsky.

Visitation will be held on Sat. July 20th from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at the funeral home, at 11:30 AM with Pastor Mike Spicuzza, of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
