Donna Greenwood, age 68, of New Castle, PA, passed away in the early morning of Sept. 3, 2023.

Born to Harold and Dorothy Greenwood on July 5, 1955. She attended Laurel High School and graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech on June 4, 1974.

Donna worked at UPMC Jameson Hospital for 39 years. She is survived by brothers Bob and Sam (Linda) Greenwood as well as nephews Beau and Ben Greenwood. Donna is also survived by many loving cousins from the Shaw family.

Donna attended many Laurel High and Westminster College sporting events. She loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. During retirement, she enjoyed regular day trips to casinos throughout Western, PA. Donna always reported she and her best friend, Mary McCummins, won more than they lost and had a great time.

Donna attended Plain Grove and Neshannock United Presbyterian Churches. A private family celebration will be observed on Friday, September 8, 2023. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Neshannock United Presbyterian Church at 63 Fairground Rd. New Castle, PA 16101.
