Donna D. McGuire, 83, of New Castle, passed away the evening of January 9, 2016 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Donna was born on October 25, 1932, in Tarentum, PA, to the late John C. and Edith B. (McGuire) Dietrick. She married William R. McGuire on February 11, 1956. He preceded her in passing on January 10, 1996. Mrs. McGuire worked at Bell Telephone after she graduated from New Castle High School. Donna served on the Lark - Autism Coalition Board and the Human Services Board. She was also a dedicated member of First Baptist Church serving on the Mission Board and attending Sparklers and the 3M Sunday School Class. Mrs. McGuire is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin L. and Robert Huston of Beaver Falls; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David W. and Robin McGuire of Grove City, PA, Jeffery G. and Lori McGuire of Perry, OH and Thomas D. McGuire of New Castle; 11 grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica McGuire, Emily and Jonathan Lozosky, Rebekah and Ben Capps, Carrie McGuire, Megan and Jeff Oskamp, Andrew McGuire, Stephen McGuire, Kayla and Phillip Pucci, Leah and Brad Stawicki, Jenna and Garrett Conn and Hannah Huston and her fiancé', Zack Cline; and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in passing by her brother, Charles Dietrick. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. John Yergan will officiate. Burial will take place in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
