Dorothy McNally Baker, 85, of New Castle, passed away the evening of December 9, 2017 at Family Hospice Inpatient Center/Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh Pa.
Born March 18, 1932, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Neyman & Martha (Smith) McNally.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Baker, whom she married May 2, 1969.
Dorothy was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1949. After graduation, she attended Geneva College. She was employed at Universal Rundle, W.G. Eckles Co. and Prothero & Parco, where she later retired. Dorothy was also a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon.
Dorothy enjoyed many various activities such as reading, music and theater arts, traveling. She also loved to spend time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Brett E. (Tanis) Baker of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, a stepdaughter, Donna (William) Martello of Tampa, Fl., 4 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 and a service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, at 11:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
