Dorothy May Greenwood, 84, of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 13, 2012 at her residence.Born May 28, 1927 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Edger and Olive Jordan Shaw.She married Harold G. "Bo" Greenwood on July 25, 1951. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1994.She was a graduate of Harlansburg High School and Jameson School of Nursing.Dorothy was employed by Jameson Hospital as an operating room nurse.She was a member of the Jameson/Shenango Alumni and the Coachman's Club. She enjoyed camping, gardening and canning. She loved attending her grandson's sporting events.Dorothy was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church.She is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Greenwood of New Castle; two sons, Samuel D. and Linda Greenwood of Pittsburgh and Robert H. Greenwood of New Castle; two grandsons, Beau and Ben Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and her husband Bo, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edger and James Shaw.Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aprul 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Neshannock Presbyterian Church. TheRev.
