Dorothy H. Pearsall, 96, formerly of Edinburg, passed away the morning of February 25, 2017 at Golden Hill Nursing Home. Born in New Castle on December 3, 1920, she was a daughter of Harry Krepps and Gladys Taylor Krepps. On December 26, 1941 she married Robert L. Pearsall, who passed away on April 29, 2001. A graduate of New Castle High School, Dorothy was employed at Penn Power Co. as an office clerk. She was a member of Eastern Star, Wimodausis, Daughters of the American Revolution and a 50 year member of the Girl Scouts. She was a former member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta Anne Miller of New Castle; a son, Richard L. (Janice) Pearsall of Yukon, OK; a son-in-law, Robert Dagres of New Castle; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Jacquelyn Dagres; and a brother, Wilton Loyal Taylor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev.
