Dorothy L. Tanner, age 87, formally of New Castle, PA, graduated into Heaven on April 18, 2018. Met by her Lord Jesus and her parents, Martin and Anna Sentgeorge, siblings and husband Sam. She will be missed by her two sons, Larry and Gary, and daughter Joyce and husband Gordon Langdon; grandchildren, Jeremy (Meghann) Langdon and Joshua (Anita) Langdon and her great grandchildren; Colten, Michaela and Tanner. Dorothy loved serving in her former church, 1st Alliance of New Castle, and Cornerstone Baptist in Elk River, MN. She became Alliance Women President of her church, taught Sunday school, worked in the nursery, and created many beautiful bulletin boards for her church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and cantatas, and sang in the community Messiah choir for several years. She worked for Kmart for over 30 years and became an employee of the month many times. She will be missed by her family and the many friends she fostered over the years. She is remembered for her graciousness, grateful attitude and smile. Even with the disease of Alzheimers, she became known for reading her Bible at the Guardian Angels, Elk River, MN where she was a resident of; many of the staff would ask for her to pray for them. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, April 22, at First Alliance Church, 111 Mission Meade Drive, New Castle, with a funeral service immediately following at 4:00 PM. Rev.
