Dwight E. Blake, age 77, of New Castle, passed away the morning of September 29, 2024, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born December 8, 1946, in Mercer, PA, he was the son of Paul T. and Ethel (Dodds) Blake.

A graduate of Neshannock High School, he served his country in the US Navy. Dwight was employed as a truck driver with Werner Enterprises until his retirement.

Among his varied interests, Dwight was an avid Steelers fan who loved his dog and spending time with his family.

He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Green, Tammy Staph and Angel Blake, all of New Castle; two sisters, Shirley Hardie and Mary Louise Reed, both of New Castle; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Susan (McAnallen) Blake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Eleanor McConahy.

In keeping with Dwight's wishes, there will be no services.
