Edith L. Eisenhuth, 79, of New Castle, PA passed away the evening of March 17, 2010 in Jameson Hospital North.Born on April 8, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Wilma Besser Smith. She married Dale R. Eisenhuth on April 7, 1952. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2000. Mrs. Eisenhuth was a homemaker. She was a 1949 graduate of Karns City High School. She enjoyed reading and her grandchildren. She was a member of Maitland Lane Free Methodist Church and she was also involved with the Missionary Society at the church.She is survived by two daughters; Pamela J. Abdoe of Wampum, Karen Cwynar of New Castle; three sons, Larry R. Eisenhuth of Clover, SC, David A. Eisenhuth of New Castle, Daniel B. Eisenhuth of Pulaski; one brother, Harold M. Smith of Pittsburgh; one sister, Patricia Robinson of Ashburn, VA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Visitation will be on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, PA.Services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev.
