Edna S. Jerry, 86, of New Castle, passed away Sunday morning at Jameson Hospital. Edna was born on July 17, 1928, in Sewickley, PA, to the late William S. and Emma P. Crago Shaffer. She married Kenneth W. Jerry on August 8, 1987. He survives. Mrs. Jerry was a graduate of Sharon High School. Edna was employed as an Accounting Clerk, for 32 years, for Westinghouse Electric. She was an avid gardener and was a devoted member of First Christian Church. Mrs. Jerry served her former church as a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship, a deacon and the secretary/treasurer of the Lookout Class. In addition to her husband, Edna is survived by her 3 step-daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy and Richard Macaluso, Kathleen and James Copper, both of New Castle, Marilyn and Larry Klemens, of Sharon, PA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents and one sister, Marie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., New Castle. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Gary Crowe will officiate. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
