Edward I. Minteer, 77, of 959 E. State Street, Sharon, passed away the morning of April 3, 2010 at his residence.Edward was born November 6, 1932, in Rosepoint, PA to the late Robert J. and Minnie Alice Moon Minteer. He was married to Maryann Wilson Minteer. They have since divorced. He retired from GATX in 1994. Edward enjoyed music and loved to fellowship with all.He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Minteer of Sharon, PA, and Sandy Flick of Leeper, PA; four sons, Terry E. Minteer of Jackson Center, PA, Larry (Jim) Minteer of Transfer, PA, Jeff W. Minteer and Mike J. Minteer both of Hermitage, PA; two sisters, Luella Cameron of New Castle and Shirley Peterson of Cochranton, PA; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Harriet Grinzivich, and one great grandson, Cory SummersgillVisitation for Edward will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 11:00am at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. New Castle.Burial will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
