Edward G. Pattrick, 76, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of August 8, 2011 at his residence.Born September 1, 1934 in New Castle, he was a son of Stanley and Nellie Peterson Pattrick.He was with the Merchant Marines as an engine worker.He was a laborer in the construction business.Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing.He is survived by two sisters, Fay Minteer of Edinburg and Alice Roman of New Castle.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Robert Peterson; and one sister, Ruth Barnes.There will be no calling hours.Interment will be Monday. August 15, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Park Cemetery.Arrangements are by the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.
