Obituary

Edward A. Zuzik, 84, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of April 10, 2013 at his daughter's home. Born October 21, 1928, in Campbell, Ohio, he was a son of Paul and Anna Wargo Zuzik. He was preceded in death on October 7, 2012, by his wife of 56 years, Helen A. Lazich Zuzik, whom he married September 29, 1956. He was a graduate of Campbell High School and attended Youngstown State University. Ed served his country during WWII in the United States Air Force. He was a finance manager with Commercial Credit where he retired in 1982. He was past president of the New Castle Lions Club and enjoyed music and the arts. He was a craftsman of wood and stained glass and loved to cook and play golf. Ed was a member of St. Camillus Church where he was an usher and also a member of the church golf league. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Dr. Craig Snow, of New Castle, and Patty and Tim Toomey, of Pittsburgh; one brother, Paul Zuzik of Campbell, OH; and two grandchildren, Lindsey and her husband Jesse Struck of New Jersey and Jason Snow of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Zuzik, Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A procession will leave the funeral home Friday, April 12, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Camillus Church. The Rev. Father Thomas Lewandowski will officiate. Full military rites will be performed by the New Castle Area Honor Guard. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
