Edwin K. Galbreath, Jr., 74, New Castle, passed away the morning of August 6, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Edwin was born March 21, 1939, in Wellsville, New York. He was the son of Edwin K. Galbreath, Sr. and Sybil L. Pytcher Galbreath. He is survived by his wife, Pat Carnahan Galbreath, whom he married on May 21, 1960. Edwin was a graduate of Ridgway High School. He was the owner of Galbreath Motors Co. and Mobility. Edwin was a member of the New Castle Rotary, was a car enthusiast, and a drummer. He enjoyed golfing, boating, dining out with friends and family, and spending time with his dog. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, Edwin is survived by one daughter, Debbie Pisor and her husband, Tom, of Louisville, Kentucky; one son, Tom Galbreath and his wife, Lori , of Bloomingdale, Ohio; one sister, Carolyn McDaniels and her husband, Pat, of Ridgway, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, with one on the way. He was preceded in passing by his parents; one son, Edwin K. Galbreath III; and one granddaughter, Megan Galbreath. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place Friday, August 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Rick Helsel will be officiating.
