Eileen Mayberry, 81 of Zelienople, PA, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Aug. 25, 1944, in Ellwood City, PA, she lived a life of love, resilience, and laughter.

To her family, she was more than a Mom and Grandma—she was the heart of the home. She had a gift for finding joy in everyday moments and was known for her steadfast positive outlook, even in times of adversity. Her family finds comfort in knowing her spirit will continue to shine brightly in all who loved her.

She survived by: William Mayberry, Joseph and Shelly Mayberry, James Mayberry & Earl and Katherine Cowher, Grand Children: William P. and Katey Mayberry, Zachary and Amber Cowher, Daniel Cowher, Woodrow Cowher, Kara Mayberry, Samantha Mayberry, Micheal and James Mayberry, Mitzi Mayberry. Great- Grandchildren: William P. Maberry Jr. Copeland (CJ) Mayberry, Owen Cowher, Lillie Strickland, and Payton Mayberry, sister Lynne Ellison and brother Don, who will forever cherish her laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Mayberry, Daughter Ellen Mayberry and parents Edyth and William Kaufman.

Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the incredible woman who touched so many lives at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, on Thurs. September 11th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

A funeral service will take place at The Resurrection Mausoleum, at St. Mary's Cemetery, 493 Harbor Rd, New Castle, PA 16101, on Friday, Sept. 12th, at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Lutheran Senior Life, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA, 16063, a community that was meaningful to her.
