Elaine Lamoree, age 81 of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of Nov. 10, 2020 at her residence. Born September 3, 1939, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Verna (Rosser) McQuiston. On December 3, 1959, she married her beloved husband of 60 years, Thomas Lamoree. He survives at home. Elaine was a 1957 graduate of New Castle High School. She was a clerk at the Lawrence County Government Center in the Treasures Office. Elaine served on the board of United Way. What gave her the most joy in life, was spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Elaine is survived by two sons, Thomas G. (Kimberly) Lamoree III of Houston, TX; Todd R. Lamoree of Sharon, PA ; three grandchildren, Thomas G. "Hunter" Lamoree, Harley Mae Lamoree, and Mackenzi Elaine Lamoree, and one niece and one nephew. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert C. McQuiston. In keeping with her wishes, there was no visitation. A private service was held for the family. Burial will be at Fair Oaks Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
