Eleanor L. Adamson, 96, formerly of Hunters Woods, passed away the night of January 11, 2021 at Jameson Care Center. Born June 3, 1924 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Howard and Vida Hatch. She was preceded in death on January 27, 2009 by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Adamson, whom she married November 28, 1946. Eleanor was a graduate of Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio. She was employed by First National Bank as a bank teller until her retirement. She was a member of Eastern Star and Wimodausis and enjoyed attending Prime Timers at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Joann Minner of New Castle; nieces, Judy (Tom) Wellman of New Castle and Patty Alexander of Akron, Ohio; nephews, Richard Hatch of Akron, Ohio and Thomas (Angie) Wellman of New Castle; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Hatch. There will be no services. A burial will take place in Granger Fairview Cemetery, Medina, Ohio.
