Obituary

Eleanor Mae Frazier, 71, of New Castle, passed away the night of April 7, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 15, 1942, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Elmer and Ada Marie Shaffer Harlan. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Raymond W. Frazier, whom she married August 26, 1960. Eleanor was a secretary for 25 years with Lawrence County Co-Op Extension. She also volunteered at the Shenango Presbytery. She was an active member of Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and the church treasurer. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Hohmann and her husband John of Ellwood City, and Brenda Frazier of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, John E. Harlan and Howard L. Harlan, both of New Castle; two sisters, Margaret Walters of Mercer, and Thelma Domblisky of Gilbert, AZ; and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William Harlan, Thomas Harlan and Norman Richard Harlan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Dr. John Loch and Ms. Marsha Parrish. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Jameson Hospice of Lawrence County, 1211 Wilmington Avenue, New Castle, PA 16105 or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 333 E. Carson Street, Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
